Our commitment
Brighton City Guide is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Built the site to work with a keyboard alone — no mouse required.
- Added a text alternative for every interactive map, so the same information is available as a list.
- Captioned photos with descriptive alt text.
- Added a language toggle so the whole site is available in English and Spanish.
Known limitations
The district boundary and business directory maps are visual aids. Wherever a map appears, the same information is also given as a text description or list, so nothing on this site is map-only.
